3-day program for up to 30 kids age 10-18.

Details

In co-operation with the Youth Hostel Bad Homburg the Roman Fort Saalburg offers a program for classes and youth groups lasting for several days. The teenagers are introduced to the Roman history at the Limes and get a profound insight on Roman life on the Empire´s outskirts, its effects and continuity in modern times as well as scientific methods of modern archeology.

They enjoy a multimedia presentation, hiking along the Limes, tour the fort, shoot with bows and arrows and throw javelins just like the Romans did, learn about Roman children´s games and much more.

Fee: Euro 125,00 per student including accommodation, full board and bed linen.
