Details

Come on in through the gate of Limes Fort, the only one of its kind in the world, reconstructed on a original site of the former Roman Empire.

You will obtain valuable insights into the Roman history, culture and lifestyle by taking the round tour through the Fort, visiting the reconstructed buildings and studying the interior furnishing, models and archeological findings. Our friendly and experienced staff will gladly accompany you on your time travel and ensure that your experience will be even more vivid.

Specials

After an introduction into the Saalburg´s history you learn about the Fort and the exhibition. Archeological findings, reconstructed areas, staging and models ensure a deep insight in the culture and lifestyle during Roman times.

Duration: About 45 minutes, maximum of 30 persons per group, daily during opening hours. Fee: 60,00 Euro per group plus reduced entrance fee (2,50 Euro per person).
