On the Trail

3,55 km long round tour
Marking Symbol: Black Owl
Starting Point: Parking place Heidenkirche at the "Rote Kreuz" (Red Cross Pass) near Schmitten-Nieder-Oberreifenberg. Wander on the Roman’s traces, starting at the "Rote Kreuz", the highest pass in the Taunus Mountains on to 11 stations where you come across information boards illustrating the Roman past. Please allow one hour for your planning.
