Limes Tower

Characteristics

The tower is a reconstruction of a Roman watch and signal tower, located directly on the Limes. Built from 1923-1926 on an altitude of 399 meters. The base measures 8 x 8 meters, the height 16 meters, constructed completely from rubble and roofed. Located in the Winterstein area of the Limes border forest.
