Limesturm

Characteristics

Roman sentry on historically documented site at the Limes. Original reconstruction, mostly by personal contribution. Located in the L 3026 between Idstein and Niedernhausen, near Idstein-Dasbach on the Limes hiking trail.

Events

The Limes Tower can be toured from April through October on the first Sunday of each month at 01:00 pm. . For current dates, please contact the tourist information in Idstein at www.idstein.de.

The 5th Roman Festival opens on August 19, 2007 at 10:00 am, featuring Roman crafts and weapon technology as well as freshly baked Limes bread.
